Irene was a long-time friend of my family. She had a beautiful voice and sang in the choir with her daughters as well as my dad. Irene was also known for her ability to use her German heritage to cook and bake awesome food. Another inspiration in my life!! This is a casserole recipe from Irene that my mom used as a quick go-to in our family dinners. Great for last-minute company.
