Mrs. Kerbs was an amazing woman. She never drove and walked everywhere she went, including faithfully walking to church. (Through all kinds of weather). She was known to me as Grandma Kerbs and was an example of a lady to us when we were young. She was widowed very early in her life but I never remember her complaining about her life.
We loved her baking at our family get-togethers!
