Absolutely the best warmed with ice-cream, or whipping cream on top! Nice, moist cake.
FRESH APPLIE NUT CAKE
Ingredients:
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 3/4 cup oil
- 4 cups chopped apples
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
Directions:
- Mix dry ingredients. Add oil, vanilla, eggs, apples and sugar. After mixed together beat until light and fluffy.
- Pour batter into well-greased and floured 10” bundt pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for an hour and ten minutes. (This could vary depending on your oven)
If you dont have a bundt pan will a 9″×13″ pan work?
Hi Nellie: Yes. I’ve done it that way. Just check it off and on because it doesn’t take as long to bake as it does in a bundt pan.
